About The Project

The Jib Creek wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project located in Dunmore QLD, approximately 35km northwest of Millmerran. The proposed wind farm is situated on the lands of the Bigambul people, as the traditional custodians of the lands and waterways of the project region. The project is entirely located within the Toowoomba Regional Council land area.

Greenleaf Renewables commenced development through host landholder engagement and some initial feasibility studies throughout 2024. We are currently gathering onsite wind data and conducting ecology surveys to inform a project layout. We anticipate the project will consist of approximately 70 wind turbines and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as well as ancillary infrastructure such as access tracks, substations, and overhead powerlines.

The Project is being developed on freehold land and will connect into the existing Powerlink 330 kV powerline located adjacent to the project boundary.
