November Pop-ups in Millmerran and Cecil Plains
On 20 November 2025, the Jib Creek Wind Farm project team hosted pop-up stalls in Millmerran and Cecil Plains to raise awareness about the project, answer community questions, and share some festive cheer.
Greenleaf would like to extend a big thank you to all the community members who stopped by to chat and share their honest and valuable insights with the team.
Locals were particularly interested in project timelines and asked questions about potential transport routes, visual impacts, noise, and shadow flicker. We also heard about the region’s housing shortage and discussed how the project’s construction period could affect Millmerran and Cecil Plains, along with possible mitigation measures. Community members also raised concerns about cumulative impacts from multiple developments currently being consulted on in the area.
We look forward to continuing these conversations with the community in 2026.

Engaging at the Millmerran Campdraft
After months of engaging with key stakeholders and project neighbours, the Jib Creek project team was thrilled to participate in the Millmerran Campdraft on Friday 5th September.
The Campdraft was a great opportunity to support local events while introducing the project to the broader Millmerran community. It was a pleasure to meet so many locals, start conversations about the project and learn more about what matters most to this community.
A big thank you to the event organisers and volunteers, as well as everyone who stopped by our stall for a chat. We’re looking forward to coming back for more conversations (and more Campdraft action!) as the Jib Creek Wind Farm progresses.
